• These are the album covers of Kendrick's albums, this is going to help us further by giving us some ideas for our own digipack for our artist. As we can see the album covers are very ambiguous and are open to interpretation as they don't have any specific ideology, however certain album covers show that the albums are personal to the artist which gives his fans a sense of getting to know him.

• These are promotional pictures of the well known Hip-Hop / Rap artist Kendrick Lamar, which helps to give us a further understanding of how to promote our artist by giving us more ideas. 

• The management team of Kendrick Lamar help to promote a lot of his new music and videos through social media, as we can see he has a large following on twitter and Instagram. He also has a facebook page which he promotes events that he is going to be performing at such as Coachella. They have also created a website for the artist which can give his fans a chance to keep up to date with his new music, albums, videos, tours and clothing. This helped give us ideas as to how we are going to promote our artist and gave us ideas for our website that we are making for our artist who is of the same genre.

• The images above are all Kanye West's Album Covers throughout his career. I feel that by looking and researching about previous album covers of a mainstream hip pop artist like him would really help us for our digi pack. We could gather ideas and see what kind of album cover a hip pop artist usually has. From this much of his album covers have personal and deeper meanings to them. Many of his more recent albums focus more on the story of some of his songs amd heavily link to a specific song within that album.

• A lot of branding and promo also go through social media. Especially with Kanye West, his Twitter and Instagram account really allow people to get to know more about the artist as he posts images and tweets about his life and his family. This really allows the audience to feel connected with the artist as they can follow them and get any updates about new songs or albums that are released.

• He also has a website which really allows his fans to find out when and where his next concerts and gigs are going to be held. This really keeps them up to date on where and when they can see him live. The website and his social media pages also have links to his music and his merchandise shop, which further promotes him and his music as a whole.

• The collage of photos above are all promotional photos that record labels like Universal and Def Jam have used to promote Kanye West and his music. A majority of these promo photos primarily focus on the artist himself as many of them consist of him being at the centre with his name next to him. This really shows off the artist and shows the public his persona/character. Using these photos really allow the record label to promote their artist all over the internet to get his name and face to a wide audience.
